What CleverHive Technologies collects, why, where it is kept and who else can see it.
Draft, pending legal review
This is a plain-language privacy statement. It describes accurately how CleverHive works today, and it has not been reviewed by a lawyer. It must be before CleverHive takes money or handles a customer’s data commercially.
This website collects nothing
The public CleverHive website sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds no tracking pixels and asks for no personal information. It reads a catalogue of applications and shows it to you. There is no account, no session and no identifier attached to your visit.
Our host records ordinary web server logs — the address a request came from, the page asked for, the time. That is a technical necessity of serving a website and is not used to build a profile.
The product collects what it needs to work
When you create a CleverHive account, we hold:
- Your email address, and a password stored only as a cryptographic hash — never in a form anybody can read, including us.
- Your organization: its name, country, currency and timezone.
- Your branches, and the people you add to them. What you record about a person is up to you — a name is enough.
- Roles and permissions, so the platform knows who may do what.
- An audit record of changes made in your organization: who did what, and when.
Business data belongs to your organization and is scoped to it in the database itself. Another organization cannot read it.
Who else processes it
Three services, each doing one job:
- Supabase — hosts the database and handles sign-in. Your data lives in their Mumbai (ap-south-1) region.
- Razorpay — will process payments when buying is possible. Card details go to Razorpay directly and never reach CleverHive.
- Resend — sends transactional email such as invitations. Not yet configured, so no email is currently sent at all.
We do not sell data, share it with advertisers, or use it to train anything.
How long it is kept
For as long as your organization exists. Deleting an organization removes its data; audit records deliberately outlive the thing they describe, because a trail that disappears with the change is not a trail.
There is no automated deletion schedule yet. When there is, this page will say what it is rather than quoting a period nothing enforces.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to cleverhive.in@gmail.com.
Self-service data export is planned and not built. It is listed as planned on the Features page rather than described as though it exists.
Changes
This page changes as the product does. Because nothing is for sale yet and no customer data is held commercially, there is no change history to show — when there is, it will appear here.
